Riding Lessons
For students of all experience levels.
We offer horse riding lessons, instruction, and training to horse riders who are just starting out, or are looking to improve their show scores. Students can come daily, weekly, or at any frequency that is productive for their development. We accept all students ages 8 and up. We strive to create horseman and horsewomen as well as competent and confident riders.
What to expect:
When coming out for your first riding lesson, we ask that you wear full length, non-constricting pants and tall shoes/boots that protect your feet and do not leave exposed skin. We have helmets available until you’ve purchased your own.
Your first lesson will look different based on your riding experience. For first time riders we spend time teaching you how to catch, groom, tack up, and safely handle your horse. As your lessons progress and your confidence builds, you will be trusted with the responsibility of catching and getting your horse ready independently before each lesson, along with putting them away after.
For experienced riders, we will asses your riding ability during your first lesson and we will match you with the horse that is the best fit for you. We will continue to monitor this relationship to ensure that you are a good pair. We will discuss your riding goals, and over the first few weeks we will develop a personalized plan for getting you to where you hope to go.

Red
Red is the perfect horse to start your riding career on! All of our beginning riders start on Red. He is our safe and loving gentle giant who will take care of you while you learn.

Buddy
Buddy is our go to horse for intermediate riders who are looking to hone their existing skills. He is always game for an adventure and is happiest with a cookie in his mouth.

Wit
Wit is my personal horse and my own perfect partner. He is an absolute gentleman and a dressage schoolmaster. He is the perfect guy to teach you proper technique and bio-mechanics. He is reserved for select students.

Romeo
Romeo is the perfect beginning school horse for small students. He will build your self-esteem and keep you laughing every time you visit him. Romeo is back after being on a lease and is ready for new students!
